Spectrami, a Dubai-based value added distribution house, recently revealed plans to work alongside Tenable Networks Security in which the companies will hold a technical workshop all about enterprise vulnerability management that will be presented to channel partners spread across the Middle East region. A network TAP is an important element of any organization’s infrastructure as it helps improve the use of analytics, security and WAN acceleration tools.

Slated to be held on Wednesday, July 11th in Dubai, UAE, the informative session will provide requisite knowledge skills on sizing and configuring of a network, as well as will provide a demo on Tenable Security solutions.

The workshop has been designed to enrich the skill sets of channel partners. Experts from Tenable will provide an overview and technical training to channel partners on best-of-breed security solutions including the latest developments and offerings, which are specifically tailored for partners in the Middle East region.

In a press release, Anand Choudha, managing director, Spectrami said, “Enterprises in the region are facing real challenge from the ever growing number of threats and risks. We believe that the award-winning security solutions from Tenable and enhancement of complimentary skill sets of partners via such technical workshops will offer a high level of protection to the enterprises in the region as well as providing partners with several new avenues to grow their businesses.”

Wayne Hollinshead, International Channel manager, Tenable Network Security added, “We believe that such initiatives are a great learning platform for technical and pre-sales professionals, which would further enable our partners in the region to grow their businesses at a accelerated pace.”

Just last week, TMCnet reported that in the network TAP space, CTS (News - Alert), a telecom consulting company, has signed a limited buyout agreement with software company Network Services Group (NSG). The agreement calls for the sale of NSG’s customer base, software code and associated contracts to CTS.
