Anturis Announces Beta Release of IT Infrastructure Monitoring, Troubleshooting Solution

February 06, 2013

By Shamila Janakiraman, TMCnet Contributor

Anturis Inc. releases the Anturis IT infrastructure monitoring and troubleshooting solution for beta testing. The solution will be available for free for a limited time.

IT infrastructure monitoring is a critical solution and a must have for all businesses as they cannot afford unexpected downtime in any form. The available solutions in the market are mostly enterprise grade, complicated to use and expensive, or open source and DIY.

To cater to the needs of small and medium sized companies, Anturis has released its complete IT infrastructure monitoring and troubleshooting service which is simple to set up and use, said officials.

Serguei Beloussov, Anturis Co-founder, Parallels Founder and Chairman of the Board said, “Today small and medium sized businesses are experiencing growing IT complexity, and we all know that if your network or online site is down you’re dead. However, many SMBs do not have dedicated teams to deal with this growing complexity. Anturis simply offers the solution that doesn't require an IT department.”

Anturis delivers enterprise-grade IT infrastructure monitoring and troubleshooting as a browser based solution that is comprehensive and leverages a cloud-based monitoring approach to data collection.

It assesses every layer of infrastructure and is capable of monitoring across distributed platforms, datacenters or global branch offices. It also analyzes collected data proactively and correlates related issues from different parts and layers of the IT infrastructure.

Also Anturis generates meaningful and actionable alerts and offers the option to view detailed information about specific problems and gives a historical perspective. Finally it allows users to trouble shoot with the help of optimized tools enabling easy solving of IT problems, explained officials.

Sergey Nevstruev, Anturis CEO said, “Up until now IT infrastructure monitoring has still basically come in two packages, bloated with features and expensive, or open-source with a great need for fine-tuning and customizing. Ultimately both options become costly to businesses either in terms of money or staff time.”

In related news TMCnet reports that Equinix a global interconnection and data center company, has deployed the ScienceLogic (News - Alert) IT infrastructure management platform to gain global visibility of its IT infrastructure assets, proactively monitoring business-critical IT infrastructure with a service level view, and empowering employees to do their jobs more efficiently
