Perfecto Mobile Enters into Strategic Partnership with Sky IT Group

December 11, 2012

By Anil Sharma, TMCnet Contributor

Perfecto Mobile (News - Alert), a provider of mobile application testing, automation and monitoring solutions, has entered a strategic partnership with Sky IT Group.

As part of the pact, Sky IT Group will offer Perfecto Mobile’s cloud-based testing, automation and monitoring solutions, as well as integration and training services around the HP IT performance suite.

“Mobile applications are inevitably influencing the relationship between companies and their customers, making it increasingly important for enterprises to fully develop their mobile testing strategy,” Alon Geva, VP strategic partnerships, Perfecto Mobile, said in a statement.

“Over the next year, we’ll see the development of mobile apps spike, but it’s crucial that businesses don’t rush this process to ensure high-quality applications,” said Geva.

“Through this partnership, we will have the ability to guide enterprises through this process by not only providing our automated functional and regression testing of mobile applications within HP's Unified Functional Testing environment, but also bring Sky IT Group’s services to a broader market,” he said.

“The mobility testing space is growing fast and companies are looking for solutions to ensure their mobile applications will resonate and perform as expected for their internal and external users. We are very pleased to add Perfecto Mobile to our portfolio of HP IT Performance Suite solutions to help us address these customer initiatives,” said Jay Hakami, president and CEO at Sky IT Group.

Hakami said the alignment between best of breed testing solutions, best-in class integration services and the growing demand in the marketplace will make this partnership a winning combination.

In October, Perfecto Mobile had announced that it has secured $15 million in the company’s third round of financing. In recent years, the company has achieved over 100 percent annual revenue growth, established a customer base of more than 600 organizations, and led the market in a variety of product innovations.

This latest funding by Globespan Capital Partners, a global venture capital firm specializing in information technology – joined by existing investors Carmel, Vertex (News - Alert) and the Waisbein Fund – will further Perfecto Mobile’s business growth and accelerate continued innovation.
