Recently, AppNeta added device monitoring to its suite of Network Performance Management (NPM) capabilities.
Network Performance Management solutions from AppNeta offer end-to-end performance insight, active bandwidth monitoring, active application performance monitoring and end-to-end QoS verification and remote flow generation and packet capture facilities to users.
According to the company, this is the only Network Performance Management Solution that makes use of a zero administration, cloud-based service for today’s distributed networks.
These additions provide network engineers and IT leaders a solution which combines diagnostic monitoring and troubleshooting. It’s done across all four elements of the network performance stack – path, packet, flow and device.
The company has also introduced PathView Cloud with on-demand SNMP, which provides lightweight and intelligent device monitoring features. It oversees performance across the network continuously, and gathers relevant data across network paths, packet captures, flow data and device status when an issue is detected.
“We are excited to offer a new approach to network performance management designed to monitor and evaluate today’s modern networks from one, integrated solution that looks across network paths, packet captures, flow data and device status,” said Jim Melvin, CEO, AppNeta. “We are taking network performance management to a new level where it can actually be easy, affordable, and provide visibility we know that you cannot get from traditional SNMP solutions today.”
Recently, the company introduced a new Internet speed testing tool called SpeedCheckr. This new tool helps in rapidly resolving performance-related problems. SpeedCheckr provides simpler and more accurate results than any other free speed testing tools available in the market when it comes to measuring Internet speed and performance.
Assuring that users always have the historical performance data they need when performance problems arise, it helps to measure Internet speed from multiple targets.
