NextiraOne Wins NetApp Gold Designation in Six New Countries

September 05, 2012

By Jyothi Shanbhag, TMCnet Contributor

NextiraOne (News - Alert), a European multinational company that designs, installs, maintains and supports business solutions and communications services for over 60,000 private and public sector customers, has won NetApp Gold Designation in six new countries, including Belgium, Luxembourg, Italy, Hungary, Portugal and Spain.

The company previously attained this designation in Austria, France, Germany and the UK and now, this achievement in new countries helps to further strengthen the company’s end-to-end data center offering in the European market.

Aman Khan, managing director Europe, Data Center and Cloud Business at NextiraOne said, “The geographical spread of expertise that we have now achieved with this announcement is important in indicating to our multinational customers the ability to design and implement innovative storage and business continuity solutions based on NetApp technology throughout Europe.”

NextiraOne has been helping various companies to meet their customers’ requirements in the areas of private cloud solutions, desktop virtualisation, mobility, security, and applications such as collaboration. Working with the world’s leading technology companies, NextiraOne provides end-to-end sustainable communications solutions to deliver measurable business benefits to its customers. The company officials said that their strength lies in its unequalled technology experience, the expertise of its people and its broad international reach.

The company utilizes its NetApp Data ONTAP clustering technology to help its customers to achieve non-disruptive operations, delivering impact more quickly. These solutions are focused on mid-to-large sized customers and public sector organizations such as government, education and healthcare providers to grow without limits - with a foundation for an agile data infrastructure.

Headquartered in Paris, NextiraOne has a direct sales and service presence in 16 countries with more than 4,300 employees across Europe, including 2,500 qualified service experts, and an annual revenue totalling around one billion Euros in 2010.
